The 10th NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden
★ Your marathon will save the life of a young adult ★
The "NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden*" was organized by Chuck Wilson in 2010 with the aim of supporting as many people battle depression and reintegrate back into society. *Note: the term Ekiden ("Eki" means "Station" and "den" is "communicate" in Japanese) refers to the old Japanese transportation system for government documents and officials by a relay of horses or men.
Through the sport of "Ekiden," we want to support young people who are willing to help each other toward a similar goal, encourage each other, and support those who are our future to connect and overcome the challenges facing them today.
That is the theme of the "NIPPON IT Charity Ekiden."
