Visiting Research Lab: "Sustainable Biotechnology" Project

In this research lab, we are aiming to make our lives richer and more sustainable by harnessing the power of tiny, invisible microbes. Of particular interest are microbes that produce electricity, commonly known as "electricity generating bacteria." The researchers are working to develop various devices using these bacteria.

In this event, we will explore questions such as, "What are microbes? Where do they live, and what do they look like?" by observing and investigating them together with the lab's researchers. After the observation, you'll also get a chance to see the "Sustainable Biotechnology" project's research lab in person!
