NIPPPON IT Charity Ekiden was devised by Chuck Wilson in 2010 with the purpose of helping the unemployed who suffer from things like depression to return to many aspects of social life.

Through the sport of "ekiden," teammates share the same purpose of helping and cheering for one another, while also supporting and providing assistance to the youth who bear the future to overcome the challenges they face.
This is the theme of NIPPPON IT Charity Ekiden.

Event
Ekiden Relay Race 15 km (in five legs)
Distance Per Leg
Each leg is three kilometers.
Requirements to Participate
Anyone (male or female) from elementary school age up to 69 years of age (with no inquiry regarding occupation).
Characteristics of the Course
The course has no traffic signals making it easy to run. It also features wonderful scenery including views of the sea, green areas, and Rainbow Bridge. There are a lot of facilities nearby to enjoy after the race.
