AkeruE Workshop: Producing Electricity Using Natural Energy (2023-02-26) <Panasonic Center Tokyo>

  • 2023-02-26 ~ 2023-02-26
  • Ariake south area

AkeruE is now offering a series of workshops that incorporate elements of STEAM education to practice problem solving and inquiry learning for the purpose of helping children think creatively! Our next workshop will be Producing Electricity Using Natural Energy.

Electricity is indispensable for daily life. But how is it made?
In this workshop, we will learn about the currently often discussed wind power generation technology, and make our own mini power generators.
By manipulating the shapes and materials of the blades of the wind turbine they have made, participants will be given an opportunity to think about how to make them more efficient at generating electricity.
We will also experiment with making electricity from familiar fruits and vegetables, and see what types of fruits and vegetables can be used to generate electricity.

We look forward to seeing you there.
