September 15-19: “The Touchable World in Children View”; Open Laboratory＜Venue: Miraikan＞

How the children's perception can be developed? This event is targeted at preschool children; children and their parents can join to research how plays and physical or mental development are relevant.
Children see and touch the things around their body to understand the word that expresses the sense of touching and they learn to use that word freely. In this event, children will play the toys that were prepared and then the researcher will observe their behaviour. While the parents will be answering the questionnaire about how children touch things and get the perception of them in their daily life.
Date：Saturday October 15th - Monday October 17th, 2018
・1st experiment: 11:00～17:00
・2nd experiment: 13:00～17:00
Venue：Miraikan 3F. "Oya? Oya salon" in "Oya?" playground
Target：
・1st experiment: 6mths～15mths children and their parents
・2nd experiment: 3～6 years old children and their parents
※Parents will be asked for filling the agreement before participating in the experiments.
Capacity：
・1st experiment: 6 groups （1 hour per 1 group）
・2nd experiment: 12 groups（30 minutes per 1 group）
