Welcome to the Hydrogen Enabling Community – A Form of New Energy to Understand by Experiment <Venue: Miraikan>

The energies which support our life, including coal, natural gas and petroleum, emit carbon dioxide that has an impact on the environment. Furthermore most of those resources will run out in the near future. With this in mind, a sizeable switch from fossil fuels to renewable energy is urgently required. Therefore “hydrogen" is drawing particular attention. Using hydrogen technologies, energy can be stored and can be transported, unlike solar and wind power generation, it is not affected by weather. It can help provide a more stable supply of electricity. Also using hydrogen does not emit carbon dioxide.

But is there any danger in the process of using hydrogen? To begin with, how do you make hydrogen? And how does using hydrogen change our lives?
