Nobel Prize Winner of 2016, Professor Ohsumi’s challenge of Autophagy <Venue: Miraikan>

There was great excitement at Yoshinori Ohsumi (an emeritus professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology) winning the Nobel Prize of 2016.

Tamotsu Yoshimori (a distinguished professor at Osaka University) has been leading the research of Autophagy with Professor Ohsumi.

As Professor Yoshimori is attending the awards ceremony held in Stockholm, he will be giving a talk about Mr. Ohsumi, his personality as well as details of the precise mechanism of cells which “Autophagy " shows.
